From 1995 to 1997 I was a Research Associate with the
Computer Science Department
at
Stanford University.
My research focused on virtual environments, in particular the
Responsive Workbench.
I also worked on acceleration techniques for ray tracing
and wavelets on the interval for radiosity.
Since 2001 I am heading the
Virtual Reality Systems Group at
Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Germany.
My more recent work revolves around multi-viewer display technology,
input devices and interaction techniques, visualization, and
real-time rendering - see our
publications.
