Assignment 5: Still Life

The lighting of my room is not so great, so I supplemented it with another lamp placed high above the balloon to get the shadow on the ground. I placed the blanket behind the balloon because it adds a nice texture difference without being distracting (which is why I chose white). Because this picture incorporates a levitating balloon, the blanket also alludes to dreaming of a situation that's real but not quite.
PS lots and lots of PS. Erasing the top layers blankets to try to make the lines line up. Changing of levels to make the picture brighter overall. Cloning parts of the headphones to get rid of the string.
